My father, Paul Lamm, was a Primitive Baptist minister. He passed away in July 1973 at the age of 63. I remember going to church when I was young, but there wasn't much for a youngster to do in their church. They didn't have Sunday School, nor did they have a nursery. The children mostly just sat in the pew and behaved. Daddy had to quit school in the third grade to help his father on the farm and to help raise the younger children. Daddy's mother passed away when he was 9 years old, leaving his daddy with 6 children to raise. Daddy was the third oldest of the children.
Before my Mother passed away in 2008, she gave me an old notebook that held several letters and sermons that my Father had written. Actually, the notes were written by Mother, but they were dictated by Daddy. They are handwritten on notebook paper in Mother's handwriting. Some of these letters/notes were published in the Zion's Landmark, but I don't have the dates as none of the notes were dated.
I'm posting this information for posterity's sake and for the availability of anyone that wishes to read them.
